316L is a stainless steel material grade, AISI 316L is the corresponding American label, SUS316L is the corresponding Japanese label. China's standard grade is 022 Cr17Ni12Mo2 (new standard), the old grade is 00 Cr17Ni14Mo2.
Due to the addition of Mo, its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are particularly good, and can be used under harsh conditions; excellent processing hardening (non-magnetic). As a 316 steel low C series, in addition to the same characteristics as 316 steel, its resistance to grain boundary corrosion is excellent.
