HK30

HK30 stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Because of the higher percentage of chromium and nickel, HK30 has much better creep strength, can continue to operate at high temperatures, and has good high temperature resistance. The working temperature can reach 600-650 ℃. Stainless steel has oxidation resistance through the local oxidation of chromium element. In the process of local oxidation of chromium element, a very stable oxide (Cr2O3 chromium oxide) can be formed. As long as the chromium content of the metal is sufficient, a continuous layer of chromium oxide green can be formed on the metal surface to prevent the formation of other oxides and protect the metal. The oxidation resistance of austenitic stainless steels can be inferred from the chromium content. High temperature resistant alloys containing at least 20% chromium by weight. Replacing the iron component with a nickel component also generally provides performance of the alloy at high temperatures.
